An experienced canoe guide will lead your team from the Karnerhof beach to some secret spots on the shores of Lake Faaker See. You'll experience the lake from a completely different point of view and discover, for example, the dense reed bed with its fascinating flora and fauna. At the foot of the Karawank mountains and the majestic Mittagskogel, you'll be providing your team with a unique experience out in nature.

An even greater challenge is offered by an extended canoeing tour on the Drava River. The route leads through charming Villach, nicknamed the "Drau city", which you'll experience from a completely different angle. The tour ends with a traditional Carinthian Brettljause cold cut platter at one of the organic farmers in the area.

In recent years, the trendy sport of stand-up paddling (SUP) has become increasingly popular, where you stand on a type of surfboard and explore the lake while paddling. For stand-up paddling technique, you'll receive a short instruction session on our beach reserved exclusively for hotel guests. The sport is easy to learn with the right board and paddle and will make for an new and exciting experience for many of your participants. 

Stand-up paddling challenges your team's sense of balance and coordination and is relaxing after an intense, busy day in the conference room. If you're interesting in helping your team really clear their heads, you can book an hour of Hatha yoga after the paddling excursion.

Climbing, scrambling, shimmying and balancing on our local mountain: Hochhinauf Climbing Park on the Taborhöhe offers unconventional team building in the dark green forests of Carinthia, perched above the village of Egg on Lake Faaker See. You and your team will be balancing on ropes stretched between trees, running over bridges or hopping from platform to platform. 

This programme offers fun, entertainment and exercise in the fresh air of Carinthia - all the while looking out over Lake Faaker See and the surrounding mountains. Six different courses with six to eleven stations each offer diverse, varied challenges. To complete the course, your team will have to work together and rely on each other. Qualified trainers are at your side during the team-building and also ensure your safety.

After the sporting activity, your team will have the chance fortify themselves in the Taborhütte, a charming restaurant in the middle of the forest with a panoramic view of the valley and Lake Faaker See.

After a busy conference day, you can embark on a journey of discovery of Europe's most exciting wine regions right on the shores of Lake Faaker See. We'll welcome your team to one of Carinthia's best-stocked wine cellars, where the host family Melcher/Karner and qualified sommelier Franz Egger stock a collection of the best vintages, with a focus on Austria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Bordeaux and Burgundy.

The culinary event begins with a tour of the atmospheric wine cellar, whose red brick walls provide a worthy home for fine wines. Franz Egger then guides your team through a suitable selection of wines and provides interesting facts about grape varieties, origin, production and drinking culture. The wine tasting is a wonderful opportunity to test and train the participants' sense of smell and taste. If you wish, the wine tour can be extended with a tasting competition to find and reward the best wine expert on your team. We serve fresh bread and cheese with the wine tasting.

Our partner teamazing is an established expert in "experience building". This approach involves effective team building supported and enhanced by unique experiences. The young company offers a variety of innovative games and tasks that are designed to be fun and to help create a long-term bond amongst the employees and between them and the company. Participants can shoot a music video together, take part in a blind tasting, go into battle with Roman "chariots", solve a criminal case using virtual reality, and much more. The 30-minute tasks can be carried out indoors or outdoors and combined in a modular fashion to create flexible events of any length.
